The rumours surrounding the launch of the iPad 3 are endless. The Launch date was supposedly March 3. It was then shifted to March 5th, and still later March 7th. As of now, it is rumoured to be released on the 9th of March. Foxconn is reportedly shipping the tablets on February 26th, and they are scheduled to arrive in the United States on March 9th.
Cargo owners were spotted demanding security at Chengdu International Airport, China. International cargo charter flights are to take off from CTU, making stops at the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and John F Kennedy International Airport in New York, finally reaching the Los Angeles International Airport on March 9th. Some other components, like storage ships, are possibly being shipped alongside, on the basis of photographs that were found by Sonny Dickson. iMore was previously under the impression that the iPad launch was being planned by Apple for the 7th of March. According to reports from BGR, the iOS 5.1 is scheduled to be launch on the 9th of March.
The two Apple iPads released so far were launched on Fridays. March 9th seems like a consistent date according to these lines. Last year however, the announcement was made on the 2nd of March, and the launch itself took place on the 9th of March. If the rumours turn out to be true, the time span between the announcement and its launch would be far shorter, i. e. only two days. Even developers have not received the GM version of the iOS 5.1. However, rumour has it the new iPad will unveil a version along with a number of additional features. If the GM seed of iOS 5.1 is to be released at the event of the announcement, a gap of at least a week is expected before the final release.

Pre-orders were not taken for the Apple iPad 2, however the Apple iPhone 4S did have such arrangements. The new Apple iPad 3 is being impatiently awaited by the whole world. People are eager to see what Apple has in store for them with this new version of the tablet. The standards created by Apple Inc. might very well find new definitions with the new Apple iPad 3.
